This fits the piece so well... beautiful interpretation with your choice of stops!
This live version is honestly my favorite, even over the vast number of recorded ones. The tempo is correct and the inner voices so well heard. Bravo to choir, recordist, and conductor!

This anthem, performed by the Cathedral Choir, (disclosure: I was a choirboy there for five years), is probably my favorite of all anthems. I was lucky enough to hear it live the last time I attended Evensong there.
I sang this many, many years ago. It has never left my mind since. Funny how that works!

Excellent recording Just so you know, the mass is in F sharp minor, and is entitled Messe (rather than Messe Solennelle). I think you may be confusing it with Vierne's mass, which is in C sharp minor and is "solennelle"
